The “Marmaris New Year Fest,” which started in Marmaris and has grown steadily over the years, is now attracting the attention of national brands.
Initially launched in 2016 as a “New Year Market,” and later expanded with cultural, artistic, and entertainment events, the Marmaris New Year Fest has been counting down with the most comprehensive program since its inception.
Turkey’s major brands, closely following the festival, have begun arriving in Marmaris for this massive event, which will start on November 29. One of the most significant collaborators is MilyonFest, Turkey’s largest festival for many years. Organized dozens of times across the country and bringing together millions of music lovers, MilyonFest’s owner Umut Kuzey recently visited Marmaris to discuss collaboration with the Marmaris New Year Fest. A well-known figure in the music industry and an experienced organizer who is also a musician, Kuzey shared his ideas for working together with Mayor Acar Ünlü.
Both parties emphasized that the Marmaris New Year Fest is not just a New Year event, but also a pioneering project aimed at boosting tourism in the country during December. They agreed to reconvene after working out the festival details.
Marmaris Municipality and MilyonFest will jointly develop a model for concerts, events, and food & beverage areas for both local and international visitors attending the Marmaris New Year Fest. It is expected that MilyonFest’s brand value will also contribute to the success of events in Marmaris.
